I’ve packed lots of goodies into this one – pumpkin seeds being one of them – so good! Walnuts are so good for our brains too – maybe that’s why they look like each other!

Brown rice is so good for us in so many ways and we all know how great quinoa is for us.

I love this one with a dollop of soft goats curd, creme fraiche or my home-made garlic yoghurt (natural yoghurt, garlic, chopped mint and salt). Yum!

Makes 560gm of cooked product.

Ancient Grains - Freekeh with Green Lentils, Almonds and Pine Nuts

Freekeh is green wheat which means that it’s harvested whilst still young, Freekeh contains more protein, vitamins, and minerals than the same mature grain and other grains.

It’s so delicious and so high in protein that it’s perfect for me at lunchtime or evening. I love it on its own but a few little pieces of feta just finishes it off.

It makes 750gm of cooked product so goes a remarkably long way.
