We've made this curry following the Lankan Filling Station recipe, using their special Curry Powder and the same lamb that we supply to the restaurant for their goat curry.
We’ve dialled down the chilli a little - serve it with fresh coriander and rice (we also sometimes bung in some leafy greens to wilt in the curry while it's heating up)..
Simply empty jar into a saucepan and gently heat. Serve with steamed rice, fresh coriander, and a salad.

A simple, tomato-based, beef mince sauce with onion, carrot, celery, garlic and fresh herbs, flavoured with our speck and using our 24 hour simmered beef broth made exclusively from the bones of the whole animals we break here at Feather and Bone.
Serve with pasta or rice and green salad; or ratatouille and thick slices of sourdough bread; or put the sauce into a baking tray and top with mashed potato or parsnip sprinkled with grated parmesan and heat in the oven for a speedy version of shepherd’s pie; or put it on toast; or pile it into tacos; or just spoon it into big, iceberg lettuce leaves and gobble it down.

A simple, comforting classic made with our beef and Pasta Emilia organic pasta. Our lasagna is rich but not heavy.
Your lasagna is frozen so it will take an hour or so to reheat in its compostable container. Preheat the oven to 180. Take the lasagna out of the plastic (not the container), cover it and pop it in the oven for 40 minutes. Check to make sure it's getting nice and hot in the centre. Then remove the cover and warm for another 15 minutes and it should be bubbling and hot. Let it sit for a few minutes before serving. When you're finished, chuck the container in your compost.

Made with sweet, clean pork from the whole, pasture-raised, heritage breed pigs we source directly from NSW farms that are dedicated to building ecosystem health and biodiversity. The shelters are mobile and the pigs are moved to fresh pastures frequently. All pigs, regardless of age or gender, are free to range and express instinctive behaviour.
We make a delicious mix of pork mince, herbs and spices and then tuck it into a bed of buttery puff pastry made for us by our neighbours, Brickfield Bakery. Made here at the butchery in Marrickville.
