Thick, light on oil, peanut-packed satay perfect for barbecued meats, with a little extra heat.
Heat it gently and smother it over your bbq'd meats and veggies. Or toss it through a stir-fry or use it straight out of the jar as a dip, this thick, fragrant and peanut-packed satay sauce is what Eighteen Thousand Islands is all about!
Eighteen Thousand Islands is a local Melbourne brand with a heartwarming story. Two cousins began selling satay skewers at the Queen Victoria markets using their grandmother’s original peanut sauce recipe. After much success there and with their two consequent restaurants, they decided it was time to bottle their secret recipe and share it with others at home. Each locally made sauce is gluten-free, vegan and uncompromising on quality.
