Kings County Distillery Bourbon Whiskey

About the product

Kings County Bourbon is aged for two years in new, American oak charred barrels. The nose offers spicy, cedar, fresh oak and roasted malt notes. Very fine but also complex, there is also the suggestion of pecan, fresh corn and bright cherry. The palate is really spicy and fine; there's real depth of malt and fruit cake notes shot through with higher notes of citrus, fresh vanilla as well as cinnamon and other autumnal spices.

Kings County Distillery Straight Rye Whiskey

About the product

Kings County's small batch Empire Rye Whiskey is made from 80% New York-grown Danko rye and 20% Golden Promise English malt that is then aged for at least two years in charred oak barrels. Pulled from a single distilling season, this is a complex rye, with glowing notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, maple, mint and cut grass with a finish of warm bread and holiday spice. Put simply, it's a far more potent, pure and flavourful rye than the commercial norm.

Pierre-Marie Chermette Creme De Cassis

About the product

This small-batch, organic cassis liqueur is drawn from estate-grown, Noir de Bourgogne blackcurrants, only found in the Burgundy region and is much smaller and more intensely-flavoured.
It is made without preservatives or colouring and with only a small amount of sugar dissolved directly into the alcoholic juice of the blackcurrant berries at low temperature. Due to the intensity of the aromatics, the deep colour and concentrated flavour, you can serve this in very small quantities. Considered by some in France to be this country's finest example, if there is a better crème de cassis, we have not tasted it.

Poor Toms Fools Cut Gin

Not suitable for pedants or children, this concoction is for audacious gin drinkers who prefer their spirit strong and full of juniper. At 52%, Poor Toms Fool Strength is a rich, classic, full-bodied gin with a whiff of grapefruit and an all-night-long liquorice/juniper finish. Perhaps best in an ultra-dry martini with an olive, a thirsty G and T, or shaken into a Last Word. Garnish with anything - this gin can handle it.

Here Sweetdram's team take a proprietary Rum base - -blended from Guyanan, Jamaican and Bajan (Barbadian) Rums - and infuse it with grains of paradise, chamomile, lime leaf, fennel and cardamom. Lapsang and organic figs, warm-smoked over oak at the distillery, impart the smokiness. Unlike many (almost all) other 'spiced' Rum brands, Sweetdram doesn't add a single iota of artificial flavours or sugars.
